The specialty works across a wide range of areas\, including spinal cord injury\, neurorehabilitation\, major trauma\, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and amputee rehabilitation. \n\n\n\nThe Taster Day will introduce participants to the breadth of the specialty and the important role of Rehabilitation Medicine in transforming treatment into recovery. \n\n\n\nThe event will include: \n\n\n\n\nEngaging talks from trainees and consultants sharing their personal career journeys\n\n\n\nInsights into cutting-edge research and innovations shaping the future of Rehabilitation Medicine\n\n\n\nInteractive small-group sessions focused on clinical skills and case discussions\n\n\n\nExhibitions highlighting multidisciplinary collaboration and technological advances within the specialty\n\n\n\nDemonstrations of rehabilitation technologies\, including robotics\, neurostimulation\, advanced prosthetics and virtual reality\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe National Rehabilitation Centre is a new\, purpose-built NHS facility bringing together specialist clinical rehabilitation\, cutting-edge technology\, research\, innovation\, education and training.
